At least usps will bring the packages into the lobby of the building and even put them in the mail lockers like they should. Ups just throws them on the ground in the mailroom and they almost always get stolen . God forbid you want to talk to some form of customer service, you get one cycle of bot questions that always ends with sorry can’t help you (:

Please don't think I have any complaints about their delivery folks. They are great. I can't imagine trying to work in that impossible system.

Wait? for my passport? How UPS works? None in 30 days gave me even a solution or at least show me something regarding this horrible situation. BLS Services is the company that handling visas processing in the name of Spanish Consulate in Miami and even the answer is the same: we are working and I give you the tracking number, that's it. Pierden documentos oficiales como pasaportes y a pesar de las reclamaciones interpuestas, llevamos un mes a la espera de que se le de una solucion al tema y ni hablar de los gastos y costos por danos y perjuicios que nadie asume. Perdieron mi pasaporte hace un mes y a pesar de visitar el lugar y buscar informacion solo me dicen que estan buscando. UPS sucks because they hate their customers. They sit n your package for days, they charge you for every opportunity they can. Even if you are want to arrange you picking up your package from them it’s gonna cost you. Customer service doesn’t even understand their own service charges. They tell you it costs money to reroute your package but it’s free if you want to pick it up directly from their hub. Then after you tell them you want to pick it up from their hub they tell you it’s gonna cost you money because they have to pay someone to bring the package to the front desk. Is UPS even employing people or are they just contracting from another company. They even lie about attempting deliveries just because they can’t make their delivery dates. I have multiple security camera videos of no UPS trucks showing up and “attempted delivery” notes on my packages that I’m paying for expedited service on.
This company should be investigated for interstate mail fraud for how they run this business.

My package was supposed to be delivered today but was rescheduled. I tried to find out why and could I just go pick it up the dist center is only 30miles from my house. I spent hours trying to get help on the phone being hung up on and no one could help me then finally I was told I could go get it between 4:45 and 8pm. The person on the phone said they talked to the dist center and I can get it today. So I get there around 4:50 and they can't find it. It's there at the facility but I still can't get it and now I have to go back tomorrow. It feels like they're holding my package for ransom. I HATE ups and will never intentionally use them again. I'll use usps they suck too but you already know that so it's not so upsetting.

UPS recently seems to have added a new driver to my area. Now every time a package is incoming he marks it as "business is closed" and leaves a note on my front door. Regardless if I authorize for the package online and leave instructions to leave at my door he will do this. Fun fact: after three attempts it gets shipped back to sender. I had to go through 5 attempts before finally taking a day off work to wait in the rain at my front door. I can't believe this but I actually prefer USPS and Bezos Mega Corp delivering my packages now.

Ok so I was moving from NJ to Texas and had UPS ship my brand new Samsung Frame TV. The TV arrived completely busted. After weeks of calling UPS and being moved from one rude agent to another they finally said that they were not going to replace it or compensate me because I got rid of the damaged packaging it was delivered in. I resigned in frustration, accepting my $2000 loss.
But then a few week later a UPS driver came claiming he was authorized to pick up my busted TV to be "inspected" by their claims department. I thought great! Finally! A week later, nothing. Even the tracking number he left me wasn't useful. A few days later and I noticed UPS had charged $800 plus dollars on my card they had on file. Cue another week of calling UPS and being sent from one rude agent to another. Even my bank was not helpful. I gave up again and resigned to my new $800 plus dollar loss without any idea what the charge was for.
A month or so later I get a call from the office at my old NJ apartment that they had a broken TV delivered for me. UPS had basically charged me that $800 plus to send my broken TV back to my old address without even permission, knowing pretty well (as I mentioned time and time) that I didn't even live there anymore.
And that's not even the end. UPS was going to charge me AGAIN to collect the broken TV from NJ. I closed the bank account associated with that transaction and have since not heard back from UPS. Needless to say I would never use their services for anything at all.

I hate the UPS access location redelivery when they try a delivery when you're not home. My personal opinion they should do two attempted deliveries in one day then can they proceed to another delivery location. But you know some of us have work so we're not home when we're expecting our package and it's extra frustrating when we expect to come home to said package but now we have to wait another day because it's being shipped somewhere else because of one missed attempt. The delivery drivers make enough money that they can make two delivery attempts in one day.

Didn’t knock, didn’t ring the doorbell. I caught him walking back to his car. And I waved at him to come back. He made eye contact. Got in his car and drove away. That’s when I realized… he didn’t even have the package in his hand. He made no attempt to deliver my lap top. Just left a “we missed you tag” and dipped. Reported this to ups but I doubt it’ll make a difference.

Now their website services don’t offer appropriate options for me: I live in a very rural location several miles behind a locked gate. I can’t sign for packages, but to waive the signature you have to choose from a list of places to leave the package, as in there’s no way to deal with or explain a slightly different situation than normal. They have to leave the package at the gate, but I have to choose from options like ‘front door’ ‘side door’, ‘porch’…I can’t just write something? Like I must live in the exact type of residence that everyone else does? f%@k ups so much. I have never had a good experience with this company, and I would never willingly use them for anything. When someone ships something to me using ups, f%@k that person too.

I dropped it off at the UPS Authorized shipper in my community. Now they want proof that it was shipped even though I've provided a receipt for my shipping. I don't have any other proof than that - couldn't get a hold of anyone & when I called a local UPS store to speak with a manager she chewed in my ear & then hung up on me when I asked her for a phone number in the US. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life! I will NEVER use them for anything.

On Oct 3, status changed to "we don't have a clue as to what were doing or where your package is so we're going to wimp out and call it a delay so you can't claim compensation". 24 hours go by until the site informs me where the package is. 300mi away. Took another 4 hours for site to display delivery on Oct 5th. This is 2023 UPS. The package is 2' by 5'. How on earth can you not keep track of something that large? Still...not "yet" as bad as FedEx is around here.

Have had nothing but bad experience after bad experience with ups, currently the issue is im waiting on an expidited replacement debit card, to replace a card which had been comprimised, get email three days in a row telling me it will be delivered tomorrow, their tracking is non-existent its a joke, they are not going to tell you more tings that just make them look bad, website is clunky as hell, if im not here they drop my stuff at an auto store up the street, no problem, but if i ask them to dropy items there it costs 5$would love to see them get thiers and get blasted out of thier market share- UPS YOU FREAKIN SUCK

I can't believe we put up with the consistently poor service and lack of recourse to address issues arising out of poor service.
Somebody, please start a different shipping company and do it right. UPS does not care about the service or product it offers. UPS has no pride in itself, no care for its customers, and it is obvious UPS only cares about obscenely enriching the pockets of its investors, CEOs, CFOs, and upper management at consumers' expense and misery.
The same goes for FedEx and DHL. The postal service is also terrible.
We need to end this monopoly of substandard service and products. We need a consumer shipper strike. If the discontents did not ship any items for one week, just one week, UPS, and the others, would pay attention.

UPS has really gone downhill after the pandemic. I remember them being so good and so reliable. My apartment unit is located outside but they don’t deliver my package because they claim the gate is locked EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I can’t even make a note of it in the UPS My Choice App because there’s no option to leave a customized note. I JUST WANT AN OPTION TO LEAVE A CUSTOMIZED NOTE. I’m not asking the driver to go above and beyond. JUST PLEASE USE YOUR EYES TO SEE THERE ARE MORE APARTMENT UNITS TO THE SIDE. That honestly sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

2023 at the (vague) end of the day. So I scheduled to spend most of that
day remaining at the delivery address.
When the "end of the day" was due, but the package was not delivered to me,
I called the customer service, and they confirmed that the package is in
their warehouse in Koropi-Attiki, but the employee said it was not planned
for delivery that day, that the system sends these (false as proved)
delivery notifications, that the delivery date is not up to them, and they
could not give me an estimated delivery date.
1, Why is the IT system allowed to send random delivery status updates
wasting customers' time that could be utilized productively?
2. How is it even possible that the item is in their own warehouse, but the
delivery date is not "up to them"?
I will never order again from NIKE Official unless they switch to another delivery service

Tracking number stated would be delivered by 7:00 Thursday evening. No script ever delivered. Next day couldn’t find any info under tracking number. Turns out script delivered to an address in Fl instead of VA. Received new tracking number stating package would be delivered by 7:00 Friday. 6:14 UPS driver drives up the road, stops but never gets out then just drives off. I kept checking tracking number which stated “ out for delivery”. 9:00 pm I finally reach a live person @ customer service who takes my number & promises to call me. No call. I wake up Saturday morning and check and tracking number states delivery by 7:00 pm Monday. Great UPS- I fly back to FL on Monday. So much for “overnight” or “ next day air”. Do what you SAY you will do & quit cheating customers & employees to line the pockets of corporate lazy, hypocrite, idiots!

Had a +$2k laptop ordered, I stay home from work the day of delivery since I don't want that sitting outside in the elements and it never arrives, I even watch the UPS truck drive by. I live on a dead end road, so I call UPS and they assure me it's out for delivery, I explain the truck just drove in and out and never dropped anything off, "that's a different truck in a different route". How many trucks go to the middle of nowhere and down a dead end road!? So I call again later, and it's now delayed til the next day. I let kid stay home from school so someone can be here this time, no delivery again. More calls to UPS. The next day I ran to the store and when I got back there was a note saying it was dropped off at a nearby pickup center since no one was here. I drive there and no package, the clerk says they come by a second time later for drop offs and pickups so I got back at that time and no package. That driver says that my house isn't her route and it probably went back to the warehouse. So I call UPS yet again, they inform me it's at the warehouse and I can go get it, so I drive the 40 mins and.... no package. This keeps going, I go there on three separate occasions the next week after work having been informed it would be there and it wasn't. They were even kind enough to waive the hold and pickup fee, yes, they literally charge you for the space the item that's sitting there anyways waiting to be sorted will take up. Finally I ask the clerk working at the UPS warehouse if he can just personally call me when it arrives and he agrees then I call UPS and re-re-re-explain the situation and tell them to find my package or taken it up with the company who shipped it. Magically they find the package the next day, personally I believe the driver was trying to steal it since it wasn't double boxed and could clearly tell what it was.
Now we come to the newest package, unfortunately shipped through UPS. It left California last Friday, scheduled for a Monday delivery which quickly changed to a Friday delivery. In Thursday I get the notification it made it to the sorting facility about 2 hours away and would arrive today. Then it quickly.cjanhes to "severe weather delay", there's no severe weather going in anywhere between the local sort facility that would deliver.itnto.ke.andnthe sort facility it's sitting at. So I contact UPS and they tell me I just can't see the weather and I promptly explain I do have this amazing thing called the internet and weather maps and there's no bad weather. The package tracking apps I have in my phone also update to say the package is at the warehouse. After talking with them they say I'm mistaken and it didn't make it to that hub yet, so I go to the UPS site and now the arrival at hub part is off the tracking and just says delayed due to weather. I happened to have taken screenshots of their site and my tracking apps saying otherwise.So now my package that went from a quick Friday to the following Monday, to a Friday to the following Friday delivery now won't make it til maybe next week while it sits and just under 2 hours from my house. UPS needs to go under and let companies that actually do their jobs take over.

And the funny thing is, if it's two packages arriving together, one will come, and the other will go to the UPS store. WTF?? And don't try calling their "UPS headquarters". They are worse than calling their UPS stores for help. It seems like they do not train their customer service people at all. It looks like they hire whoever throw them into the fire with no training at all, and you get these poor people on the end, talking out of the side of their necks, making stuff up to make you happy to get you off the phone fast. I am not asking for major surgery. All I am asking is for my packages to be delivered to my house after I say it's okay to leave them. Not going back and forth for weeks, arguing, and getting frustrated all the time. It's a crying shame to see a company such as UPS, which has been around for many years, go down the toilet because it is going down the toilet very fast.

I was an operations clerk for UPS back in 1979 when they were the best company with great service and the lowest prices to ship. Of course back then they did have a weight limit. I had the best boss I ever had back then and even named my son after him. I left UPS to finish college even though I was offered a once in a lifetime chance of being hired full time, which is very rare since I was a college student. My boss ended up leaving as well and became a baptist minister. His wife had been my auto insurance agent for over 20 years and I never knew her husband was my former boss until they moved out of state for his ministry position.
A lot has changed since then. To begin with, the big strike they had was when the ship sunk as far as I am concerned. It seemed that strike went on forever. Everyone depended solely on them because they had the largest customer database of all options for shipping. I was a shipping clerk for an educational school band music store where we sold band instruments, made repairs, sold books and school band accessories. I had shipped a huge order of music books to a large band to a school in the northern part of my state. I insured the books at 1,000.00. The actual retail was much higher, but something told me for an order that large, I better add insurance. Back then UPS auto insured every delivery for 100.00, and it only cost .25 cents per each extra 100.00 increment.
They damaged the shipment and put our company off for months. In the mean time I had to get in touch with the book publishers because we didn't have enough stock to repeat the missing order. Even then, UPS made it next to impossible to get in touch with anyone there. They just kept telling us they had put a trace on the tracking numbers but don't know what happened to any of over a dozen large boxes of books. This went on for 9 months until I finally got a live person on the phone that had to of been a newbie.
They told me the boxes were damaged and UPS auctioned them off the very day after we shipped them. The reason they were delaying us is because of the 1000.00 insurance on the shipment. That was enough to let me know I never wanted to use UPS when supply companies would let you choose how you wanted your order shipped. With Amazon and most companies, you don't have a choice any more. On the 11th month after the books were shipped, we were finally mailed a check for 1,000.00.
Before that happened and before I went to work for this music company, UPS backed into a 2,500.00 awning overhang in the back of the building. The building was not even 3 months old. UPS refused to pay for the damages. Shortly after the overhang was replaced and paid for, the idiots rammed into the overhang again. This time my boss got all the employees to block the UPS truck in until a supervisor from UPS came and agreed to pay for the damages to the building along with the previous damages, otherwise my boss said that truck does NOT leave the lot. They paid. I just went round and round with them as I had ordered an expensive hard drive for my new computer build. It arrived DOA, so Best Buy issued a pickup via UPS. The problem was Best Buy never emailed me a label to put on the return, the UPS driver did NOT have a receipt to give me for the 400.00 drive, then on the tracking even an hour after he picked up the return, it was NOT reflected on the website as being picked up.
When I called I got the biggest run around with their "virtual" dumba$$ recording and they refused to let me speak to a representative or give me a call back (which they used to do last year). FedEx is somewhat better and at least packages they deliver are in fairly good condition. Anything I receive from UPS looks like someone tied it with a chain on the back of the truck and drug it on the highway or cleaned their tail end with it. All crushed up and dirty. (3) 28lb bags of cat food that were only half full and had grass and dirt and taped back up. They have a department called rewraps where UPS tries to salvage the damaged
parcels and packages and they have a lot of them. I was only clerical when I worked for them and I wouldn't go back if they paid me double what I was making back then which was really good pay. I just call them UPS ucks.

And forget trying to talk to someone at UPS, all I can get is an virtual assistant, that doesn't know zip. They do not publish their local hub phone number ( and I think I know why). I try to avoid them when I can, but when the shipping carrier is not stated. If you have a problem they direct you to the UPS website. Their customer service sucks. The company sucks.

It's impossible to contact anyone to get an update. Because I'm not the shipper, there is little I can do. I think it's pretty obvious that my monitor is sitting in some part-time UPS sorter's apartment. How else can you explain 'losing' an item the size of a monitor? At least Amazon was decent and refunded my money. I'm sure this is what the sticky fingered employees at UPS bank on.

They know that they are untouchable and can't be fired, that is why they don't give a shit about anything.
I live on the third floor of a building, I literally will watch UPS drivers pull up, realize that I live on the third floor, and then see my package status chaged to "undeliverable" because they don't want to go up the stairs.
I'll be very pleased to see them go out of business on day due to the laziness of their staff, high wages, expensive rates, and other companies doing it better and cheaper.
This kind of attitude is exactly how it was at GM and Ford in the US. We all know how that turned out.

I sold an item through Ebay to a customer in Italy. Of course, I want my customer to receive the parcel as soon as possible. It was my first time that I sold an item through Ebay and apparently I'm more or less forced to ship the item through UPS. At least that's the impression I currently have.
Boy oh boy, I'm so disappointed with UPS. I had to bring my parcel to a UPS Access Point. This access point is located in a regular shop, in my home city. I had purchased the label, I stuck it to the parcel and handed it over to the shop owner who also takes care of the UPS parcels. That was the easy part.
Then it turned out that UPS did NOT went to that shop to collect the parcels for three business days! Thus, I contacted the shop and asked them whether the parcels had already been collected. The shop owner told me that this was NOT the case and that he also tried to make UPS get into action and collect the parcels in order to ship those parcels to their destinations.
Thus, I contacted customer service and told the CS agent that the parcels at the access point, located at the shop's address should be collected ASAP in order to start the shipping process. However, the CS agent informed me that an investigation was necessary since he could not localise the parcel. I had given him the tracking number and on the UPS website it said exactly where the parcel was. It was at the access point waiting to be collected by UPS. I also had provided the exact address and I had the verbal confirmation of the shop owner that the parcels were yet to be collected by UPS. But that could not be confirmed by UPS's systems, used by their agents, and thus an investigation was absolutely inevitable.
To make matters worse. I also had to contact Ebay to file a claim. Uhm, no... I AM the bloody consignor of the parcel. I am the one who packed the item. I am the one who purchased the label online, printed it out and stuck it to the parcel. And I am the one who rode his bike through the city to deliver the parcel to the access point. Ebay has nothing to claim!
A claim was completely unnecessary. It was crystal clear where the parcel was situated. It still sat in that store and it was still not collected by a UPS clown. But for UPS CS this was apparently completely vague and really needed an investigation. The situation is so ludicrous. And if the item wasn't so pricey, then it might have been genuinely funny. I might have laughed about the boundless stupidity. But it is really rather annoying and very frustrating. Especially, of course, for my Italian customer, who paid good money for this item and who has to wait so damn long for this item. All that because UPS is apparently incapable to perform even the most basic of actions, collecting parcels from an access point.
Both the shop owner and I, and apparently a whole bunch of other angry consignors, contacted UPS repeatedly to complain. Today, the 27th of July, an entire week after I dropped the parcel off at the access point, the parcel is finally on its way to Italy. But UPS showed to me that they're capable of turning very simple to solve issues into extremely complicated problems. So, I hold my heart and hope that UPS will deliver this very parcel successfully, without damage, to the consignee's address in Italy, in the shortest amount of time possible. But I'm afraid to hope too much, almost scared to jinx the shipping process, while I'm usually not superstitious at all.
This was my first time shipping with UPS and if I can avoid shipping with UPS in the future, I certainly will do so.

I ordered an item I needed in two days and paid a small fortune for two day shipping. It shipped Thursday and arrived in Buffalo on Friday! However, even though UPS (Useless Pieces of Shit) delivers on Saturdays I was told 'two day air is not available in my area.' What the f%@k! It was IN BUFFALO, AT THE FACILITY, but they cried that bullshit! They're happy to take your money and stick to some bullshit like that. This will be THE last order I allow UPS to handle. I have a package to be delivered at my condo complex, they have the keys to enter mail room (They could have even left it outside). When I checked the status it said delivery was attempted, except there is no notice of the delivery. Tried calling them on their number the IVR (machine voice response) would NOT connect me to a human being at all. Wasted 10 minutes.
Trying to do it from their website, no confirmation email yet. And this is not the first time they are doing this. Last time it happened they said that I would need to pay them to collect my package from their warehouse even if I go there!

I thought the truck driver just labeled the address as "incorrect" only because he/she couldn't find it. Now I am reading other people's comments and it looks like they do it on purpose - if the package requires a signature, they just take it to the warehouse. It's labeled as "on hold" now and undeliverable. I called a dozen times to UPS 800 number trying to find the package and it's in that warehouse somewhere. What a joke this company has become.

So a couple weeks ago I ordered 2 live sea anemones from a store on Ebay. The store dropped them off at the UPS location in Buffalo, NY for Next Day Air. That's the last anyone saw of them. UPS...
So a couple weeks ago I ordered 2 live sea anemones from a store on Ebay. The store dropped them off at the UPS location in Buffalo, NY for Next Day Air. That's the last anyone saw of them. UPS LOST them. OK... so the store lodged a claim with UPS and refunded my money. The next day I re-ordered the same 2 anemones from the same store. Again, the store dropped them off at the same UPS store in Buffalo. Again, shipping them NDA. This time, they made it to Louisville, KY. Now, they're 'weather delayed' for a day. So the next day, they 'supposedly' made it to my city and are 'out for delivery'. I've gotten 3 emails claiming that they'll be delivered between 1:00-3:00. I received the first email at 1:05. Second email came at 2:55 and the third email @ 3:10. Do they not read the emails they send out? (Yes, I know it's all automated buy my God) It is now 3:40 and they still haven't dropped. Now these are live animals that are sensitive to stress such as being out of their normal parameters such as light, water temp, etc. Not that I'm that happy with UPS now but I will be livid if these anemones show up dead. It is just insane how bad UPS is these days. Tracking seems like a hit or miss type of thing now.

Disgusting. Piss poor awful garbage communication. Morons. I scheduled a pickup. Waited ALL DAY long since 3am, refreshing the page multiple times. Went to the bathroom, came back and refreshed the page and it said a driver attempted delivery, but no one texted or called. The problem is the tracking number they provide doesn't tell you when the driver will be coming. The tracking number is literally useless. Now I have to cancel every label for a refund, reprint USPS labels, and walk 12+ heavy boxes one by one to USPS in the summer heat because the boxes don't fit in my cart. Never doing business with these clowns ever again.

No one showed up because there was no package and no “sorry we missed you” paper. Well, July 5th at around 10pm, it updated to going out for delivery July 6th. Okay… guess it’ll be here then. July 6th comes and goes and at 11pm that night it updates to “delivery date will be provided as soon as possible”. After three phones calls to UPS and two phone calls to Verizon, I learned that UPS has lost my iPhone. I ended up getting it refunded and grabbed a smaller storage iPhone in store on July 7th. UPS is truly horrible and I’ll avoid using them at any cost.

Despite my going to the trouble of signing up to UPS MyChoice and specifying that ALL PACKAGES should be left at may apartment front door, a small but important package today made it as far as my apartment lobby.
The driver called twice on the door phone, I answered twice, but there was nobody there. I pressed the door lock code, and eagerly awaited the delivery!
No such luck!
I was left with a notice saying that a delivery was “attempted” and that my package was now on its way to an inconvenient UPS Store, where it will NOT be available until the next day.
That’s completely unacceptable.
Delivery to me is “door to door.” Amazon manages that with amazing efficiency.
I wish that this was a unique experience… it isn’t.
BTW, this is in Ottawa, on Riverside Drive, if anyone in UPS Ottawa management listens to complaints.
I doubt it.
Like a previous writer, I now tell all suppliers that I will not deal with them if they use UPS Shipping.
They are the worst service in North America for package delivery.

I'm not even sure if the drivers are to blame or they are just not given enough time. I live on the 3rd floor of a building so I guess that takes too much time. Also, recently had 2 high value items go missing (I was not the one who choose shipping with UPS, the sender did). I literally have less than a 50% delivery rate. Fed-Ex is at 100%. This company can not be trusted to deliver packages, and there is no customer service to help you (Unless you like being greeted with angry ghetto women who apparently hate themselves and you for calling them).

Then after about 2 weeks, UPS charges me $40 more and ships it back to me and puts it on my porch (we didn't request it get sent back)... Me, assuming they already inspected it, took pictures and then threw the packaging away. About a week later, UPS wants to inspect the package!!!! (for damage) I give up...

Had a package being sent back to Macy's only to have it "delayed" and stuck in Horsham, Pa since 6/3. Attempted to get in touch with CS via Facebook Messenger only to run into some lazy moron who DID NOT even read my message and asked for the tracking # which I ALREADY gave! Then they told me what I already knew. I told them that and asked why it was delayed and when would it be sent to where it needs to go. They just told me to go back to the site and pick from a bunch of options. Unfortunately, this is not the only issue I've had with Horsham, Pa. UPS facility. They had the gall to claim that Home Depot (which I was returning a light fixture to) was no longer in business.What the actual F?! They did wind up delivering it to HD a day or two later, but still...
After investigating further on my own I saw posts (mostly on UPS's reddit) from others who have had their packages delayed, some of which, have been delayed for weeks now. Of course, UPS has 0 alerts regarding delays only the "We're no longer delivering to Ukraine, etc" service alert.
So now, I'm -- yet again -- forced to pray that a "Professional" delivery service delivers the package.

I think spent 45 minutes in the phone explaining this to them in which ten times they referred me back to their website despite stating it was not working for me. They also never gave an address in which so could attempt to pick up the address. Finally someone was able to help but then charged me money just to change the delivery address. What a corrupt company that holds your packages hostage, a website that doesn’t work, and multiple delays. I would never use this company.
Routinely they also deliver things to our office but make no attempt to actually deliver. They do not ring the doorbell and then just leave.

Isn't that the risk for every delivery? Instead I had to use a vacation day to be home to make sure it was delivered. When I called customer service, they tried to make the excuse that if a signature was required it is the shippers responsibility to notify me if that. So I asked if a signature was required? He said no. I then asked ok then how come the driver didn't leave the package? Then came the real reason. It was a new driver and he wasn't sure it was ok to leave the package.. OMG! ...Train your people UPS...

Monday I get an email stating my package will arrive the next day before 7pm, from UPS.
Tuesday I get an email from UPS stating my package will be delivered on Wednesday before 7pm.
Wednesday I get an email from UPS stating my package will be delievered THURSDAY before 7pm.
Thursday I get an email from UPS stating my package will be delivered Friday before 7pm.
Friday I get an email from UPS stating my package will arrive SATURDAY by 7pm.
Saturday I got NOTHING!
Here it is SUNDAY, and I get an email from UPS stating I will get my package MONDAY before 7pm...............and the LIES CONTINUE!!
If the place I ordered from used FedEx, I would have had my package when they told me I was going to have it!
Make SURE you ASK how a place ships, BEFORE YOU ORDER FROM THEM! If they use UPS......SHOP SOMEPLACE ELSE!!!!

These morons at UPS need to be put out of business, so I order a Verizon Fios service to my new apartment on Wednesday, I was quickly informed by email that the package will arrive on Saturday may 20th between 2pm-6pm so I made sure I signed up for MY CHOICE so that I can get alerts when the package it’s on its way and when it’s delivered only to come home on Friday to a note on my Mail box saying that I missed the first attempt so I was like oh well I wasn’t expecting it on Friday anyways so no big deal but I never received any alerts other than the one after the fact, we’ll at least that’s what I thought, I get another email saying they would be here again Saturday between 2pm-6pm, which I thought it would be ok due to the fact I have my kids this weekend from 10am til Sunday night and since it’s supposed to rain all weekend I was glad at least we could stay at home and watch cartoons or whatever but not with these incompetent a$$holes, I again got a email saying “hey we missed you again on the second attempt” we were there at 11:02am, wtf??? You emailed me you were coming between 2-6pm why would you come in at 11am??? So I got in touch w useless CS and all I got was “oh sir we understand your frustration blah blah blah” someone will call you back soon, in less than an hour” it’s now Sunday afternoon and after speaking to these useless idiots now I have to wait until sunday and I have my kids at home with pouring rain with no wifi and no internet nor tv so thanks again UPS y’all need to literally die

I ordered a nice purse for my S.O. for Mother's Day. I had plenty of time for shipment. I was excited. ... I *was*... that is, until I learned who would be handling the package. I started having flashbacks of 'Nam when I read the dreaded 3 letters on the tracking... Yoo Pee Ess. Oh boy. Here we go. I've had probably a dozen UPS deliveries over the last 5 or so years and 11 of them have been a nightmare. "Missed deliveries", where no doorbell or knock was given, just the "sorry-we-missed-you slip, shipping delays, lost packages --- you name it.
And sure enough, this time is no exception -- there is something wrong with this shipment. I'm on day 5 of daily calls trying to correct a package shipping location. I've been through lengthy automated phone menu a dozen times. UPS tells me that the seller needs to upload the shipping and billing information so that they can edit the shipping address. The package is in transit, has a tracking number and an estimated arrival date. How can that be if they don't have the aforementioned information? It is a mystery that alludes all logic and may never be solved. A true enigma wrapped in a riddle.
I was just on a 3-way phone call with the seller and the UPS customer service (per UPS' Customer "Service" suggestion) attempting to resolve the issue. The seller and the UPS rep conversed for several minutes. UPS reiterated that they don't have the shipping information. The obvious aforementioned questions were raised -- to which there was the non-answer of "your company did not upload the 'end-of-day' report." Whatever tf that means. The seller has worked for this company for 7 years and has never heard anything like that. At which point, he hung up on both the seller and me.
Why is UPS Customer Service so terrible you ask? Well, aside from the entire company being entirely and homogeneously comprised of sh!t, UPS is hoping to wring a few more dimes out of it hapless victims. They're betting after 20 minutes of listening to terrible hold music and repeating yourself to the robot lady with the voice recognition abilities of a 2005 Blackberry, you'll hang up and visit their bug-ridden website. They'll tell you "it's easy to change the shipping address with our 'My Choice' service!" Spoiler alert. It's not. Not at all. You know what *My Choice* would be, you wretched abomination? To never hear, see, or be subjected to anything remotely associate with your company ever again.
I digress. 'My Choice' has proven impossible to even use. When I'm not getting "LASSO" errors (whatever the fk that is), I'm getting other errors such as "That address / name / email address / phone number / blood type / astrological sign is already associated with another account".
When I finally got logged into my account, the shipment isn't there. I look it up by tracking number and then it puts it in "Recently tracked". Ah cool. I see it is still fuct and there is no way to edit it. Thanks UPS. Glad I spent aggregate days getting into your Website as a workaround for abysmal live customer service.
The issue still isn't resolved. The man was supposed to send a follow-up email. He didn't. If I am to give this company any credit it all, it would be for consistency. From their deliveries, their website, their customer service, to their excrement-colored trucks and uniforms -- it's all sh!t. At least I know what to expect.
I'm not quite sure what 'UPS' actually stands for, but I have a few guesses I thought I would share.

Apparently, after 42 years living at the same street address, it is no longer valid. According to the idiot on the phone, my address was flagged as "abandoned or vacant" and UPS "...can't deliver to vacant addresses." How the hell can a driver think an address is vacant, when there is a car in the yard, smoke coming from the chimney, and other signs of life?
UPS is the only company that always has a litany of excuses as to why they can't deliver my packages - weather was too bad, driveway wasn't plowed (it was plowed and sanded), driveway is too muddy, driveway is too bumpy, and now my address is vacant. WTF is wrong with this company? No other company has these issues. To add insult to injury, they then charge you $6 to hold your package at their local terminal.
I always try to avoid using UPS for anything, but unfortunately Amazon (and a few other sites) insist on using them despite being asked not to.

But then a few week later a UPS driver came claiming he was authorized to pick up my busted TV to be "inspected" by their claims department. I thought great! Finally! A week later, nothing. Even the tracking number he left me wasn't useful. A few days later and I noticed UPS had charged $800 plus dollars on my card they had on file. Cue another week of calling UPS and being sent from one rude agent to another. Even my bank was not helpful. I gave up again and resigned to my new $800 plus dollar loss without any idea what the charge was for.
A month or so later I get a call from the office at my old NJ apartment that they had a broken TV delivered for me. UPS had basically charged me that $800 plus to send my broken TV back to my old address without even permission, knowing pretty well (as I mentioned time and time) that I didn't even live there anymore.
And that's not even the end. UPS was going to charge me AGAIN to collect the broken TV from NJ. I closed the bank account associated with that transaction and have since not heard back from UPS. Needless to say I would never use their services for anything at all.

Somebody, please start a different shipping company and do it right. UPS does not care about the service or product it offers. UPS has no pride in itself, no care for its customers, and it is obvious UPS only cares about obscenely enriching the pockets of its investors, CEOs, CFOs, and upper management at consumers' expense and misery.
The same goes for FedEx and DHL. The postal service is also terrible.

their warehouse in Koropi-Attiki, but the employee said it was not planned

delivery notifications, that the delivery date is not up to them, and they
could not give me an estimated delivery date.
1, Why is the IT system allowed to send random delivery status updates

I live on a dead end road, so I call UPS and they assure me it's out for delivery, I explain the truck just drove in and out and never dropped anything off, "that's a different truck in a different route". How many trucks go to the middle of nowhere and down a dead end road!? So I call again later, and it's now delayed til the next day. I let kid stay home from school so someone can be here this time, no delivery again. More calls to UPS. The next day I ran to the store and when I got back there was a note saying it was dropped off at a nearby pickup center since no one was here. I drive there and no package, the clerk says they come by a second time later for drop offs and pickups so I got back at that time and no package. That driver says that my house isn't her route and it probably went back to the warehouse. So I call UPS yet again, they inform me it's at the warehouse and I can go get it, so I drive the 40 mins and.... no package. This keeps going, I go there on three separate occasions the next week after work having been informed it would be there and it wasn't. They were even kind enough to waive the hold and pickup fee, yes, they literally charge you for the space the item that's sitting there anyways waiting to be sorted will take up. Finally I ask the clerk working at the UPS warehouse if he can just personally call me when it arrives and he agrees then I call UPS and re-re-re-explain the situation and tell them to find my package or taken it up with the company who shipped it. Magically they find the package the next day, personally I believe the driver was trying to steal it since it wasn't double boxed and could clearly tell what it was.
Now we come to the newest package, unfortunately shipped through UPS. It left California last Friday, scheduled for a Monday delivery which quickly changed to a Friday delivery. In Thursday I get the notification it made it to the sorting facility about 2 hours away and would arrive today. Then it quickly.cjanhes to "severe weather delay", there's no severe weather going in anywhere between the local sort facility that would deliver.itnto.ke.andnthe sort facility it's sitting at. So I contact UPS and they tell me I just can't see the weather and I promptly explain I do have this amazing thing called the internet and weather maps and there's no bad weather. The package tracking apps I have in my phone also update to say the package is at the warehouse. After talking with them they say I'm mistaken and it didn't make it to that hub yet, so I go to the UPS site and now the arrival at hub part is off the tracking and just says delayed due to weather. I happened to have taken screenshots of their site and my tracking apps saying otherwise.So now my package that went from a quick Friday to the following Monday, to a Friday to the following Friday delivery now won't make it til maybe next week while it sits and just under 2 hours from my house. UPS needs to go under and let companies that actually do their jobs take over.

A lot has changed since then. To begin with, the big strike they had was when the ship sunk as far as I am concerned. It seemed that strike went on forever. Everyone depended solely on them because they had the largest customer database of all options for shipping. I was a shipping clerk for an educational school band music store where we sold band instruments, made repairs, sold books and school band accessories. I had shipped a huge order of music books to a large band to a school in the northern part of my state. I insured the books at 1,000.00. The actual retail was much higher, but something told me for an order that large, I better add insurance. Back then UPS auto insured every delivery for 100.00, and it only cost .25 cents per each extra 100.00 increment.
They damaged the shipment and put our company off for months. In the mean time I had to get in touch with the book publishers because we didn't have enough stock to repeat the missing order. Even then, UPS made it next to impossible to get in touch with anyone there. They just kept telling us they had put a trace on the tracking numbers but don't know what happened to any of over a dozen large boxes of books. This went on for 9 months until I finally got a live person on the phone that had to of been a newbie.
They told me the boxes were damaged and UPS auctioned them off the very day after we shipped them. The reason they were delaying us is because of the 1000.00 insurance on the shipment. That was enough to let me know I never wanted to use UPS when supply companies would let you choose how you wanted your order shipped. With Amazon and most companies, you don't have a choice any more. On the 11th month after the books were shipped, we were finally mailed a check for 1,000.00.
Before that happened and before I went to work for this music company, UPS backed into a 2,500.00 awning overhang in the back of the building. The building was not even 3 months old. UPS refused to pay for the damages. Shortly after the overhang was replaced and paid for, the idiots rammed into the overhang again. This time my boss got all the employees to block the UPS truck in until a supervisor from UPS came and agreed to pay for the damages to the building along with the previous damages, otherwise my boss said that truck does NOT leave the lot. They paid. I just went round and round with them as I had ordered an expensive hard drive for my new computer build. It arrived DOA, so Best Buy issued a pickup via UPS. The problem was Best Buy never emailed me a label to put on the return, the UPS driver did NOT have a receipt to give me for the 400.00 drive, then on the tracking even an hour after he picked up the return, it was NOT reflected on the website as being picked up.
When I called I got the biggest run around with their "virtual" dumba$$ recording and they refused to let me speak to a representative or give me a call back (which they used to do last year). FedEx is somewhat better and at least packages they deliver are in fairly good condition. I live on the third floor of a building, I literally will watch UPS drivers pull up, realize that I live on the third floor, and then see my package status chaged to "undeliverable" because they don't want to go up the stairs.

I sold an item through Ebay to a customer in Italy. Of course, I want my customer to receive the parcel as soon as possible. It was my first time that I sold an item through Ebay and apparently I'm more or less forced to ship the item through UPS. At least that's the impression I currently have.
Boy oh boy, I'm so disappointed with UPS. I had to bring my parcel to a UPS Access Point. This access point is located in a regular shop, in my home city. I had purchased the label, I stuck it to the parcel and handed it over to the shop owner who also takes care of the UPS parcels. That was the easy part.
Then it turned out that UPS did NOT went to that shop to collect the parcels for three business days! Thus, I contacted the shop and asked them whether the parcels had already been collected. The shop owner told me that this was NOT the case and that he also tried to make UPS get into action and collect the parcels in order to ship those parcels to their destinations.
Thus, I contacted customer service and told the CS agent that the parcels at the access point, located at the shop's address should be collected ASAP in order to start the shipping process. However, the CS agent informed me that an investigation was necessary since he could not localise the parcel. I had given him the tracking number and on the UPS website it said exactly where the parcel was. It was at the access point waiting to be collected by UPS. I also had provided the exact address and I had the verbal confirmation of the shop owner that the parcels were yet to be collected by UPS. But that could not be confirmed by UPS's systems, used by their agents, and thus an investigation was absolutely inevitable.
To make matters worse. I also had to contact Ebay to file a claim. Uhm, no... I AM the bloody consignor of the parcel. I am the one who packed the item. I am the one who purchased the label online, printed it out and stuck it to the parcel. And I am the one who rode his bike through the city to deliver the parcel to the access point. Ebay has nothing to claim!
A claim was completely unnecessary. It was crystal clear where the parcel was situated. It still sat in that store and it was still not collected by a UPS clown. But for UPS CS this was apparently completely vague and really needed an investigation. The situation is so ludicrous. And if the item wasn't so pricey, then it might have been genuinely funny. I might have laughed about the boundless stupidity. But it is really rather annoying and very frustrating. Especially, of course, for my Italian customer, who paid good money for this item and who has to wait so damn long for this item. All that because UPS is apparently incapable to perform even the most basic of actions, collecting parcels from an access point.
Both the shop owner and I, and apparently a whole bunch of other angry consignors, contacted UPS repeatedly to complain. Today, the 27th of July, an entire week after I dropped the parcel off at the access point, the parcel is finally on its way to Italy. But UPS showed to me that they're capable of turning very simple to solve issues into extremely complicated problems. So, I hold my heart and hope that UPS will deliver this very parcel successfully, without damage, to the consignee's address in Italy, in the shortest amount of time possible. But I'm afraid to hope too much, almost scared to jinx the shipping process, while I'm usually not superstitious at all.
This was my first time shipping with UPS and if I can avoid shipping with UPS in the future, I certainly will do so.

Monday I get an email stating my package will arrive the next day before 7pm, from UPS.
Tuesday I get an email from UPS stating my package will be delivered on Wednesday before 7pm.
Wednesday I get an email from UPS stating my package will be delievered THURSDAY before 7pm.
Thursday I get an email from UPS stating my package will be delivered Friday before 7pm.
Friday I get an email from UPS stating my package will arrive SATURDAY by 7pm.
Saturday I got NOTHING!
Here it is SUNDAY, and I get an email from UPS stating I will get my package MONDAY before 7pm...............and the LIES CONTINUE!!
If the place I ordered from used FedEx, I would have had my package when they told me I was going to have it!

I ordered a nice purse for my S.O. for Mother's Day. I had plenty of time for shipment. I was excited. ... I *was*... that is, until I learned who would be handling the package. I started having...
And sure enough, this time is no exception -- there is something wrong with this shipment. I'm on day 5 of daily calls trying to correct a package shipping location. I've been through lengthy automated phone menu a dozen times. UPS tells me that the seller needs to upload the shipping and billing information so that they can edit the shipping address. The package is in transit, has a tracking number and an estimated arrival date. How can that be if they don't have the aforementioned information? It is a mystery that alludes all logic and may never be solved. A true enigma wrapped in a riddle.
I was just on a 3-way phone call with the seller and the UPS customer service (per UPS' Customer "Service" suggestion) attempting to resolve the issue. The seller and the UPS rep conversed for several minutes. UPS reiterated that they don't have the shipping information. The obvious aforementioned questions were raised -- to which there was the non-answer of "your company did not upload the 'end-of-day' report." Whatever tf that means. The seller has worked for this company for 7 years and has never heard anything like that. At which point, he hung up on both the seller and me.
Why is UPS Customer Service so terrible you ask? Well, aside from the entire company being entirely and homogeneously comprised of sh!t, UPS is hoping to wring a few more dimes out of it hapless victims. They're betting after 20 minutes of listening to terrible hold music and repeating yourself to the robot lady with the voice recognition abilities of a 2005 Blackberry, you'll hang up and visit their bug-ridden website. They'll tell you "it's easy to change the shipping address with our 'My Choice' service!" Spoiler alert. It's not. Not at all. You know what *My Choice* would be, you wretched abomination? To never hear, see, or be subjected to anything remotely associate with your company ever again.
I digress. 'My Choice' has proven impossible to even use. When I'm not getting "LASSO" errors (whatever the fk that is), I'm getting other errors such as "That address / name / email address / phone number / blood type / astrological sign is already associated with another account".
When I finally got logged into my account, the shipment isn't there. I look it up by tracking number and then it puts it in "Recently tracked". Ah cool. I see it is still fuct and there is no way to edit it. Thanks UPS. Glad I spent aggregate days getting into your Website as a workaround for abysmal live customer service.
The issue still isn't resolved. The man was supposed to send a follow-up email. He didn't. If I am to give this company any credit it all, it would be for consistency. From their deliveries, their website, their customer service, to their excrement-colored trucks and uniforms -- it's all sh!t. At least I know what to expect.
I'm not quite sure what 'UPS' actually stands for, but I have a few guesses I thought I would share.

UPS is the only company that always has a litany of excuses as to why they can't deliver my packages - weather was too bad, driveway wasn't plowed (it was plowed and sanded), driveway is too muddy, driveway is too bumpy, and now my address is vacant. WTF is wrong with this company? No other company has these issues. To add insult to injury, they then charge you $6 to hold your package at their local terminal.
I always try to avoid using UPS for anything, but unfortunately Amazon (and a few other sites) insist on using them despite being asked not to.
